Why did Lukas Machine form a "Lukas Fab" division?

Lukas Fab was formed to fill a very large void in the "machine shop" industry of readily available welding talent and technology. Given the diversity of machining and fabrication projects we tackle, we simply couldn't gamble on finding first class welding services when we need it. So we formed our own fabrication division, which is Lukas Fab.
